DestinHaus opens new office in Japan
The client’s revenues had plateaued and they had not grown for several years. The fear was that if they did not grow, they would slowly die as a business. There was an urgent need for a radical turnaround strategy.
Utilizing our proprietary assessment methodologies, combined with our business experience, we analyzed every aspect of the company in order to determine what was holding them back. We studied the culture of the company systematically. The client had hired other consultants before but to no avail.
Our conclusions startled the client but provided them with a dose of reality. The client lacked a vision, there was no strategy and there was complete lack of morale amongst the employees. A consultant had been hired a few years earlier to develop a strategy. The strategy developed earlier was just another incremental, “me-too” approach rather than something that provided a sense of renewed hope and motivation. There was no communication and hence no alignment. Hence, the earlier strategy development work was just a theoretical exercise with limited value. We found that the prevailing company culture was stifling growth.
We developed a new vision and strategy that led to a major departure from their current path. The culture was changed drastically in order to facilitate growth. The top level of management was revamped. The company was going astray but they have now been steered onto the right path and are moving in the right direction.
