DestinHaus opens new office in Japan
The business was floundering. The assignment was to identify what was wrong and to set it right.
The DestinHaus team carried out a critical assessment of the client company and determined that it lacked the basic business process that are critical for it to function as an on-going entity. There was a lack of controls, a disregard for the requisite checks and balances. The company had grown tremendously over the past several years through hard work and deal-making. However, there had been no effort on establishing the appropriate culture; in fact what was pervasive was an “anything goes” culture. We identified the various business processes that were necessary to set the ship on the right path, designed the details of the processes, put together the organizational framework and structure along with the appropriate details on the culture that needed to be established. The detailed transformation plan was handed over to the client company’s internal team to implement.
