Sustainability requires making every decision with the future in mind. It determines the relationship we have with the world around is. The fundamental belief in sustainability determines how we think, how we act and how we interact with our environment. In effect, such a belief defines who we are as individuals, as organizations, as countries and societies.

At DestinHaus, we have the firm belief that we all need to do more to enhance the sustainability of our planet and hence, humanity. Over the past twenty years society has been consuming the earth's resources at a significantly faster rate than every before in history. The three main causes for this are a culture of consumption, production and transportation. Tackling these issues requires innovative thinking and leadership, it requires having the boldness and foresight to realize we have a problem and the willingness to do something about it.

Our research work in the area of sustainability focuses on how we can build an organization, a business that is profitable and withstands the test of time while showing an appropriated concern for the world we live in.
